Best hometown diner. Owners are great people, great food nothing fancy but that's what makes it great. They remember our order everytime. We come here often.
Just like having breakfast at your friend's house! Great comfort food.
Great food? Had the Patty Melt and BLT. Both came with homemade french fries and homemade chicken noodle soup. It was very quiet at 1:00 pm and we were able to seat ourselves. Drinks and menus arrived really fast ad did our food. We will be back??
It is a small laid back place that I always wanted to try. It did not disappoint! Breakfast was delicious!
It is amazing I love it recommend the grilled cheese
Really good food. I love this restaurant. The place isn't fancy. Local characters abound. It's run down. But EVERYTHING is cheap, fresh and good. While the two main restaurants in 83 are packed, there's always open space here. If you aren't too full of yourself, this place will fill you up right.
It's a welcoming, unpreposessing diner where regulars act like family. The regulars are known to grab their own coffee and to-go boxes, and tend to be known by name. I've only been there once thus far, but the soup and corned beef were good. I used Google Maps to find the place, but it doesn't actually take you quite to the restaurant. I thought I had the wrong area because of that, but it was just a couple hundred feet or so from where my GPS said it was. I parked on the street but noticed a big parking lot right across the road from the restaurant.
No Frills but good down-home food
I celebrated my birthday today in this great restaurant. I am glad to say that it was a wonderful evening and the place was certainly one of the reasons for the successful celebration. The crew participated in a lovely way, the cooking was yummy and my guests were very pleased. We shall definitely return for more joyful events. Thank you very much.
The best. No pretense just good food and friendly service.
It was my first visit and I really enjoyed it. The food was good and service fast and friendly. Definitely a place to visit for breakfast if you want to have a pleasant morning.
Always great service and great food. Cozy little restaurant. Family owned. All very nice.
Amazing food and a great community. I've lived in Antioch all my life love this place.
HORRIBLE PLACE! The waitress was so rude and even mean at times. The menu is outdated and has no variety. I won’t recommend this place to anyone!
Love Bobby's
I sat, well two customers were rang up the candy dish was filled and a glass of water was being gotten for another customer all well my food set getting colder when I got up to leave she told me oh your food's done and I thought to myself for the last 10 minutes
Dont even know where to begin. Never greeted, barely spoken to gor order, no drinks even offered. Springs sticking out of booth backrest. Wouldn't return
Nice place too Eat...Great Food...Thks Enjoy.Km
No credit card processing machine as of this Sunday 7/15/2018 .You need cash go-to lakeside bank there a free ATM there .Over all not a bad greesy spoon .
The food is excellent, all made from scratch. The service and atmosphere are exactly what you want in a small-town diner. I'd definitely recommend the restaurant for all day breakfast or lunch. Bob, Silvana, and Billy will take good care of you.
The burgers were very good but everything else was ok. My daughter ordered French-fries with her burger and they gave some sort of hash brown potatoes. The burger was supposed to come with complementary soup, but, because it was Sunday, they did not have any soup. Their prices are decent and the place is clean. The bathrooms are clean but very old and small. We might go back if nothing else is open.
Neat little diner with surprisingly good food.
Nice people that own it. Great food.
Just amazing. Great food and great service
Sunday morning. Thought we'd give it a try and wow! What a mistake. Seated ourselves and received drinks promptly. That was the end of any service at all. The waitress was yelling at the cook who I assumed was her father. Another woman was walking aimlessly looking for who ordered what. After 15 minutes and a few incorrect orders, the waitress brought us food. We hadn't even ordered yet. At that point we decided to leave without eating. At the register, the waitress FINALLY asked for our order. Perfect ending.
Very nice place walk in good food and service
Good food, inexpensive.
The food is excellent n affordable.has an old hometown atmosphere. The same people come in all the time. Everything is home made or cooked to order
My husband and I were in town and Googled restaurants. Lakeside Restaurant came up and we decided to give it a try. Excellent! Homemade. Thank You for a Great meal.
Stopped in here a few years ago when I noticed the best burger sign, have been going back ever since. That sign is well deserved, in my opinion the best burger in the area by a wide margin. They have a great breakfast too. I always recommend stopping in for a burger deluxe. Hand made burgers and fries for a really good price. Stop in and get one you won't regret it.
One of the best kept secrets in town!
Excellent breakfast was amazing. Had corn beef hash for the first time absolutely amazing will have it again. Pancakes were really good too nice and fluffy. Service was good as well will definitely be back.
The food there is really good, the staff there is super nice. Everyone was really kind and respectful to my friend, who when they addressed him the staff called him "her", he is a transgender person, and when he asked the staff respectfully to refer to him as a he, the staff respectfully said "sorry, thank you for telling me." And that's what every person should do.
Cute little diner and super nice staff
Great food! Just make sure you bring cash they dont accept any other forms of payment. But 2 can eat for under 20 bucks.
Best Breakfast in all of Antioch!!
Great family owned place. Best burgers around.
This is a gem hidden away.like a diner out of a 1950s bogart movie owners will know your name coffee is always on and foodies fresh and placed is spotless
Cute, cozy small town dinner. Mainly regulars, menu is typical dinner food.I like to come in the evenings and drink some coffee and people watch.
Decent breakfast fare. I wanted to add some pancakes to my omelette but $5??? For .15 worth of fried dough? Omelette was good though.
Great breakfasts, great burgers, best french fries. Great service! Friendly owners!
Pizza burger was decent. My wife's chicken was very tough and bland. The waitress out of habit i assume put coffee into my wife's hot chocolate. Very quiet when asking us what we wanted to order. Just not pleased with experience
A little slow, more of a laid back vibe. Very friendly and good food.
A hidden gem.. great food.. fabulous owner
What a disappointing meal. For starters I could not understand anything the waitress said. We asked her 3 times what kind of soup they had. It was “something” and rice. Tomato? Onion? I ordered it anyway, and still don’t know. It was totally tasteless.Because the reviews talked about the homemade food, my husband ordered the meatloaf. It looked like mystery meat to me. He said it was burnt hamburger smothered in gravy. What a horrible experience.
Great burgers and pancakes too!
Great burgers and good soup.
Always good food! Staff is family run and friendly
This is always a good place for a quick and tasty homemade meal. It is family owned and very friendly.
It was great! Good food and great prices! Well go again.
